5. Safety instructions
WARNING
Risks for people (including
children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or a lack of
knowledge.
Ventilation unit may only be
installed, commissioned,
cleaned and maintained
by
people who can safely
recognise and avoid the
risks associated with this
work.
CAUTION
Risk to health if ventilation
unit is not correctly
cleaned/maintained.
Hygienically perfect operation
is not ensured.
Clean and/or maintain ven-
tilation unit at least every
2 years.
DANGER
Danger from electric shock.
The mains plug must be
unplugged before removing
the housing cover [1].
Only trained electricians are
permitted to work on the
electrics.
Be sure to observe the
relevant regulations for
electrical installation; in
Germany this is particularly
VDE 0100, with the
corresponding parts.
A mains isolation device with
contact openings of at least
3 mm at each pole is
mandatory.
DANGER
Danger during transport and
from packaging material.
Observe applicable safety
and accident prevention
requirements.
Check unit for transport
damage. Do not commission
a damaged unit.
Store packaging material out
of the reach of children.
