If times overlap, the fans run in the higher
ventilation level. The fans switch off for times
not taken into account.
The time programme is temporarily deactivat-
ed if a ventilation level is manually adjusted
(via simple or EnOcean control unit).
8.5 Bypass position (cooling)
Ventilation units fitted with a bypass can also
be used to cool living areas if the
Summer
season
is set
Chapter 17.4.
Under
Ventilation/ventilation settings
the
open
or
closed
bypass setting is displayed.
Bypass open:
Operation without heat
recovery for cooling. The outside air is fed
past the heat exchanger and directly into
the living areas
use at low outside air
temperatures.
Bypass closed:
Operation with heat
recovery for heating. The bypass shutter is
fully closed. The outside air is fed through the
heat exchanger into the living areas.
i
A cooling effect can also be achieved
if the air is precooled via a geothermal
heat exchanger at high outside air
temperatures.
8.6 Frost protection display
Ventilation units with an internal PTC heat
register keep the heat exchanger free from
frost.
You can see under
Ventilation/ventilation
settings
whether the PTC heat register is
switched on or off (active/inactive).
Frost protection active:
Frost protection
equipment switched on. The outside air is
warmed to avoid icing of the heat exchanger.
Frost protection inactive:
Frost protection
equipment switched off. No pre-heating of the
outside air.
8.7 Air filter
Change the air filters (unit filter, external filter,
room filter) when
“Change filter” is displayed
or if LED II is flashing on the simple control
unit (only for unit filter).
In the
Ventilation/Filter
menu you can use
the
Filter query
button to obtain a quotation
for filters suited to your unit and order them
directly if required.
