2.1 Intended use
Ventilation unit for the

Always connect ventilation

units in pairs.
Suitable for apartments,

single and multiple family
units and offices. For new
builds and also for
renovation work.
Only for installation in

supply air rooms.
To be installed as a wall-

mounted unit with a slight
incline (1...2 %) on an
external wall.
For installation in external

walls at least 270 mm and
no more than 500 mm thick.
Wall feedthrough with
●
220 mm core hole diameter.
2.2 Predictable misuse
Maico is not liable for
damages caused by improper
use (use other than intended
use).
Under no circumstances
should the unit be used:
close to flammable

materials, liquids or gases.
for conveying chemicals,

aggressive gases or
vapours.
in explosive atmospheres.

in swimming pools.
●
to dry out new buildings.
●
in combination with range
●
hoods or laboratory
extractors.
Do not fit room air control

and unit near showers. No
splash water protection.
2.3 General safety
instructions
Operation
Never operate the ventilation
units without a filter. Regularly
check the air filters for dirt.
Clean the filters every 2-3
months. Change all air filters
when the filter change display
on the room air control
appears.
