6. Rinse heat exchanger with clear water,
then leave to dry.
7. Clean wall sleeve.
8. If possible, suction clean inner part of
external cover.
9. Insert ceramic heat exchanger in slide-in
sleeve. Only fit heat exchanger once dry.
10. Insert fan unit [8] in slide-in module.
11. If necessary, replace air filters [7] and [12]
Chapter 10.2.
12. Fit both filter seats on ends of slide-in
module. Make sure they lock into position.
13. Insert plastic rivets in filter seats – install
in reverse order to that described under
point 2.
14. Install slide-in module and fit front
cover
Chapter 10.2, points 10. to 13.
10.4 Changing air filters: PPB 30 units
Change
the air filters when the filter change
indicator appears approx.
6 months
. Always
replace both air filters on each ventilation unit.
NOTICE
Damage to unit if water enters the unit
when the front cover [24] is taken off
.
Only
remove front cover and perform maintenance
work when water (shower) is off. Only operate
unit when fully fitted with original G3 filter (arti
-
cle no. 0093.1502).
1. Disconnect unit from the power supply at
all poles (switch off the mains fuse) and
secure it against being switched back on
again. Fit a warning notice to avoid the
unit being switched back on.
NOTICE
Damage to front cover [24] when
unlocking.
Carefully actuate clips [P].
Don’t slide off.
2. Remove front cover [24] by gently press-
ing up the two latches [R] and evenly
pulling cover [24] to the front and out.
Do not twist it.
3. Pull the two air filters [31] out of the inter
-
nal housing.
4. Insert new air filters in the two filter seats.
Ensure that the air filters are correctly
inserted into the two holders
Figure.
5. Attach front cover [24] at top in two
housing studs and swivel down until they
engage with the two latches.
6. Activate mains fuses and remove warning
sign.
The ventilation units start up.

Job done! The filter change is complete.
