All settings are undertaken and unit statuses
displayed on the RLS. RLS 45 K with commis-
sioning software.
Sensors
Wired sensors
are connected to an
RLS 45 O
or
RLS 45 K
control.
Assignment:
Per
control, max. 1 internal sensor and 3 external
sensors. The sensors (internal/external) can
only be plugged/taught-in on the master RLS.
Up to

wireless sensors
can be taught-in
on one PP 45 RC master. The user is free to
select the assignment. For possible sensor

Radio system from PP 45 RC / PPB 30 RC
units
With radio-controlled systems, associated
PP 45 unit pairs
work in master-slave mode.
Slave units (RC ventilation units, radio sen-
sors, radio switches etc.) are taught-in on the
master unit.
The master unit is then responsible for hand-
ling with the slave unit

Mode intended for the specialist installer
to set and set up the unit functions and to
register wired sensors
Commissioning

The commissioning software can also be
used with the RLS 45 K control.
6 Operating ventilation unit(s)

The set operating mode and ven-
tilation level apply to all connected
room air controls and ventilation
units, as does the External OFF
function. Other settings (intermit-
tent ventilation, sleep mode) only
apply to ventilation units on the
relevant room air control.

Only use cross-ventilation mode
for limited periods so that the
rooms do not cool too much at a
low supply air temperature (out-
side temperature < 16 °C).

If stationary for long periods,
replace the air filters

6.1 Switching on/off
Once the mains fuse has been switched
on, the LEDs of the selected operating
mode and ventilation level light up on the
wired room air controls
Chapter 2.
Radio-controlled ventilation units PP 45
RC/PPB 30 RC have 3 LEDs on the inner
housing.
Select “ventilation level 0” to switch off
the ventilation units.
To save energy, the LEDs are dimmed if
not used for 5 minutes. Set value can be
changed with commissioning software.
6.2 PP 45 shutter
The shutter [2] in the internal housing [3]
of the PP 45 serves to prevent unpleas-
ant smells/harmful substances from being
drawn indoors and/or cold outside air
flowing in when the unit is switched off
(level 0).

units, the shutter [2] is
opened or closed by hand.
