2. Produce core drill hole. Observe a
1…2 % inclination (towards the
external wall) so that the
condensation produced can flow out
towards the drip edge of the external
cover.
3. Insert wall insulation sleeve [10] in
core drill hole. Once the plaster,
wallpaper etc. has been applied, the
wall insulation sleeve must be
squared up to the plaster of the
internal wall.
4. Fix wall insulation sleeve to the
internal and external wall with the
eight shims supplied.
5. Shorten shims with cutter blade or
similar tool so that they are flush with
the internal wall and external
plastering.
6. Seal wall insulation sleeve on inside
and outside with the plaster protective
covers provided until the internal and
external work is complete.
If necessary, secure plaster protective
covers in wall insulation sleeve.
7. Fix wall insulation sleeve and shims
with
non-pressing
construction foam.
8. Cut off protruding construction foam
flush with the internal and external
wall.
9. If the wall insulation sleeve protrudes
more than 20 mm out of the external
wall (incl. plaster), shorten wall
insulation sleeve at external wall.
7.3 Recess-mounted socket
Includes in scope of supply for room air
control.
1. Place recess-mounted double socket
for room air control in desired place.
Ensure this is a level and flat location.
2. Plaster the lower part of the recess-
mounted double socket.
7.4 PP 60 KL-SR soffit element
Undertake these steps if a
PP 60 KL-SR is being mounted.
1. Place soffit duct [15] on wall insulation
sleeve [10] with the help of the sleeve
secured to it [16].
2. If necessary, shorten soffit duct to
length to window or door with metal
saw or angle grinder.
3. Place soffit element termination [13]
on soffit duct.
4. Fix soffit element termination to soffit
duct with the four self-tapping screws.
5. Place perforated plate grille [11] in the
soffit element termination.
6. Secure perforated plate grille with the
two screws provided.
7. Seal coupling between sleeve [16]
and wall insulation sleeve [10] with
silicone.
