Remove the terminal box cover [2].

Pierce cable grommet [7] with a nozzle pin.
CAUTION
Danger of short circuits and
damage to unit! Water will
penetrate if the power cable is
incorrectly fed into the
terminal box or if the cable
grommet is not fitted
correctly.

Pierce cable grommet with a
nozzle pin such that the cable
grommet tightly clasps the
power cable.

Fit cable grommet [7]
correctly, also seal on both
sides if required.

Feed power cable through cable lead-
through [5] and feed cable grommet into
terminal box.

Press cable grommet [7] into terminal box.

Firmly screw down power cable with
tension relief [10] and cable feed-through
[5].

Connect 3-wired power cable to terminal
box [6].

Put the terminal block cover on and screw
it into place.

Fit upper part of housing [1] and secure
with 3 screws.
7.4 Start-up

Ensure that the fan is correctly connected
and that the air can flow unhindered.

Check that the technical data has been
adhered to, by reference to the rating plate.

Switch on fan with separate on/off switch.

Check that the fan impeller is running
quietly.
8. Maintenance
EHD units require no maintenance.
9. Cleaning
DANGER
Danger to life. Unit is powered
up.
Disconnect unit from the power
supply before cleaning.
DANGER
Danger of injury from rotating
impeller after switching off!

Wait until the impeller is
stationary before opening the
housing.
WARNING
Risk of cuts from metal
housing plates with sharp
edges.

Wear protective gloves.

Disconnect EHD unit from the power
supply and fit warning sign to prevent it
being switched back on by mistake.

Remove upper part of housing [1].
1
Use damp cloth to clean EHD unit.
1
Fit upper part of housing and secure with
3 screws.
