Fault rectification
12.
Fault finding only by trained specia-
lists. Call on the services of a trained
electrician any time there is a fault.
Repairs should only be carried out by
a trained electrician.
1. Switch off mains fuse, secure against being
accidentally switched back on and position
a warning sign.
Fault
Cause, Measure
Fan does not
switch on.
No mains voltage.
Check whether the mains fuse
has failed. Switch on if
necessary.
Fan does not
switch off.
Overrun time (max. 25 min).
Wait for the overrun time and
reduce if necessary
Chapter 9.2.

Motor too hot.
Wait until the motor has
cooled. Cool-down time can
be
up to 10 minutes
. Unit
switches back on automa-

Fan does not
switch off
or
fan switch on

A high-impedance voltage
applies against terminal L1
with a control switch negative
glow lamp, parallel installed
wires (mutual induction) or
transformers respectively
other electrical parts.
Recommendation: Connect a
X2-capacitor (220 nF/250 V)
against neutral lead.
Dismantling
13.
Dismantling should only be carried out by
a trained electrician.
1. Before dismantling, disconnect the unit at
all poles from the power supply (switch off
mains fuse), secure against being
accidentally switched back on and fit a
visible warning sign.
2. First pull off the lower third of the cover [4]
and then remove it.
3. Release all 5 locking hooks (see arrow) on
the motor cover [3] from their positions
using a screwdriver.
