Storage
The following steps are recommended before storing the sweeper at the
end of the season:
- Wash the sweeper thoroughly, inside and outside, with warm water,
preferably using a high-pressure washer. Any remaining dirt should
be washed off with a suitable detergent.
The sweeper equipment includes sensitive
components such as electrical systems, bearings
and valves.

Check that there are no defects in the equipment. Carry out any
repairs that are needed.

Clean and lubricate all maintenance areas, such as bearings and
sliding surfaces. Clean all grease nipples.

Retract all hydraulic pistons. Lubricate any sliding surfaces that
cannot be protected.
- Touch up any damaged areas of paintwork.
- Treat hollow steel sections with a corrosion inhibitor.
- Drain all water from the watering system, open the drain tap on the
spray tube. When the tank is empty run the water pump until the
water has stopped flowing. Remove and empty the filter.
In addition to the above measures it is recommended that exposed parts
are sprayed with a corrosion inhibitor.
