Install half drive line

 

Install  the  P.T.O.  drive  mechanism  (item  1)  from 

separate  kit,  into  the  snowblower’s  driveline  (item  2) 

by  aligning  the  stamped  marks  (item  3)  (located 

between the splines at the end of the shaft) with the 

large  groove  (item  4)  in  the  hollow  tube  on  the 

snowblower’s section. 
 

Only one position allows the sections to be inserted 

one into the other. 

Install the P.T.O. drive mechanism

 

STEP 2 

SNOWBLOWER INSTALLATION:

 

NOTE: 

Lower the parking stand (item 1) with your 

foot.  

Turn the snowblower face down. Take care to avoid 

being pinched by the parking stand. 
 

Insert the key (item 2) in the half drive line (item 3) as 

shown. 

Insert the half drive line on the input shaft (item 4) 

and align the holes together as shown. 

Insert the hex bolt 1/4’’ x 2’’ (item 5) as shown and 

secure with a nylon insert lock nut 1/4’’ (item 6). 

Tighten the set screw (item 7) to hold the key in 

place. 

Turn the snowblower back on the parking stand. 

Install the appropriate hydraulic connectors on the 

hydraulic hoses. Follow the instructions included with 

the adaptor kits. 
 

#700643 on the Max 22-24-25 

#700644 on the Max 26-28 

For OJA follow instruction into the subframe manual 

Drive the  vehicle forward towards the accessory and 

unite them by raising the lift arms (item 1). 

Leave the accessory on the ground. 

Stop the vehicle’s engine. 
 

Secure  the  accessory  to  the  subframe  with  two  pins 

(item 2) and two lynch pins (item 3). 

Unite accessory and subframe 

WARNING 

Stop the engine. 

Place a block of wood under the subframe when 

installing  the  pins  to  limit  any  movement  of  the 

subframe during installation.  

If  you  do  not  put  a  block  of  wood  you  could  be 

pinched if the hydraulic malfunctions.
