5.31 Steering Wheel
5.31.1 Steering Wheel Tilting/Telescoping
Push down the steering wheel lock / release lever (1) to tilt (2) or
telescope (3) the steering wheel. Adjust the steering wheel to the
desired position and lock it by pulling up the lever.
Hold and move the steering wheel to check if it is locked in place.
Avoid turning the steering wheel all the way to the left or right
for more than 10 seconds with the engine running. This may
cause the power steering system to be overloaded, causing
damage to the system.
Do not adjust the steering wheel while your vehicle is moving.
Always adjust the steering wheel with the vehicle stationary
Before driving, make sure that the steering wheel is locked
5.31.2 Horn
Press the horn pad on the steering wheel to sound the horn.
The sound of the horn can startle pedestrians. Use only when
needed.
