ASSEMBLY
NOTE:
To facilitate installation, turn the snowblower
face down.
Insert the
1/4’’
key (item 1) on the input shaft (item 2).
Slide the half drive line (item 3) on the input shaft until
the hole in the drive line lines up with the hole in the
input shaft. Secure in place with the
1/4’’
x 2
1/2’’
hex
bolt (item 4) and nylon insert lock nut (item 5). Tighten
firmly.
Secure the key in place with the
3/8’’
set screw (item
6) and torque at 317 lbf
-
in using thread locking
sealant.
Install drive line
Assemble the half drivelines (item 1 & 2) making sure
the grooves are well aligned.
Assemble the half drivelines
Install the male section of the driveline into the
snowblower
’
s driveline by aligning the stamped mark
(item 2) (located between the splines at the end of the
shaft) with the large groove (item 1) in the hollow tube of
the snowblower
’
s shaft.
NOTE:
Only one position allows the shafts to be
inserted one into the other.
IMPORTANT
: Incorrect assembly of the drivelines will
cause vibrations which will diminish the effectiveness of
the accessory and damage the components.
