Changing the Blue F1 and F2 Filters
1 Open the right-hand servicing hatch. The filters are labelled as F1 and F2.
2 Pull out the filter and insert a new filter in its place.
Note correct mounting position of filter F1. The arrow must point upwards.
Confirm that the particular filter has been changed, in the Display menu: Menu
> Servicing menu > Filter changed > Filter F1 or filter F2) or the MES: Otto or
diesel > Device diagnosis > Filter change frequency
NOTICE
Always change the F1 filters in pairs and make sure they are not mixed up! Always
install the filter marked with “R” on the right-hand side, the filter marked with “L”
on the left-hand side.

Changing the O
2
Sensor
1 Open the right-hand servicing hatch.
2 Unlock the connector of the connection cable and disconnect it.
3 Turn the used O
2
sensor to remove it from the mount and screw in the new
sensor until slight pressure is applied to the O-ring.
4 Re-connect the cable.
5 Check the sensor voltage via
Display: Menu > Servicing menu > O
2
sensor.
6 Press “Enter” to confirm the installation.
