Barcode Returned Encrypted
To return the barcode data as encrypted, follow these steps.
1)
Locate a barcode that can be scanned by the device such as a mobile app, screen, or print out.
2)
Check on
Encrypt Scan Data
.
3)
Press the
Scan
button to begin scanning a barcode.
4)
The BCR LED will turn on. Present a barcode near the top center of the device.
5)
The BCR LED will turn off after the BCR scan is complete.
Note, if the barcode does not scan, slowly center the barcode. If centered, slowly move the barcode
away from the device. The larger the barcode size, the further away it should be.
6)
Encrypted Barcode data will be shown similar as below.
