Test the Automotive-style Horn (if
equipped)
DINGLI requires that this procedure be
performed every 250 hours or quarterly,
whichever comes first.
The horn is activated at the platform controls
and sounds at the ground as a warning to
ground personnel. An improperly functioning
horn will prevent the operator from alerting
ground personnel of hazards or unsafe
conditions.
1 Turn the key switch to platform control. Pull
out the platform and ground red
Emergency Stop button to the on position.
2 Push down the horn button at the platform
controls.
⊙
Result: The horn should sound.

Test the Drive Brakes
DINGLI requires that this procedure be
performed every 250 hours or quarterly,
whichever comes first.
Proper brake action is essential to safe
machine operation. The drive brake function
should operate smoothly, free of hesitation,
jerking and unusual noise.
Hydraulically-released individual wheel brakes
can appear to operate normally when not fully
operational.
Perform this procedure with the machine on a
firm level surface that is free of obstructions,
with the platform extension deck fully retracted
and the platform in the stowed position.
1 Mark a test line on the ground for
reference.
2 Turn the key switch to platform control. Pull
out the platform and ground red
Emergency Stop button to the on position.
3 Lower the platform to the stowed position.
4 Press the drive function select button.
