Control unit MGC
Function description
7.3
Pulse operation in both directions with vend count
In pulse operation, a maximum of 3 opening pulses per side are accepted. If
several opening pulses are received, the hold-open time is added up and
counted down. If opening pulses are present in both directions, there is no
motor movement or movement of the blocking element. The swing door
remains open in the direction in which it was first opened.
7.4
Special cases within the motion sequence
7.4.1
Turning back during the closing movement
If an attempt is made to turn the blocking element back during the closing
movement, the behaviour of the swing door depends on the setting of the
parameter "
Security mode
If the option "
With locking
" is selected, the locking is activated. After a waiting
period, the locking is released again and the movement continues. If the
option "
Without locking
" is selected, the blocking element is held only by the
motor power.
7.4.2
Vandalism attempt
If a user tries to push the blocking element from the "closed" position, the
swing door tries to prevent this process by locking or with the motor power.
If the option "With locking" is selected, the locking is activated. After a waiting
period, the locking is released again and the movement continues. If the
option "Without locking" is selected, the blocking element is held only by the
motor power.
7.4.3
Obstacle detection
If an obstacle is detected during the movement, e.g. a user does not continue
to walk or a piece of luggage is jammed, the movement is stopped. After a
delay of 3 seconds, the movement continues at reduced speed. After
3 consecutive opening attempts with obstacle detection, the swing door
closes.
