First use
• Remove the device and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers, protective film or plastic from the
device.
• Before you use the device for the first time, clean the stirring blade base

with a damp
cloth.
• Clean the measuring cup

and ring base (with sealing ring)

in warm water
and washing-up liquid. Do not clean the stirring blade base

or blender base

in water or any other
liquid.
• Thoroughly dry the device and accessories.
• Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge or steel wool; these damage the
device.
• Before connecting the device to the mains power, first mount the accessories to the blender base

and
make sure the control knob 9
is in the “0” position
• Connect the device to the mains power.
• NOTE! When using the device for the first time, a slight odour might occur, this is normal. The odour will
disappear after a few minutes. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Power ON/OFF
• Before the device is connected to the mains power, make sure that the accessories are securely mounted
to the blender base

and the control knob

is in the “0” position. Add the ingredients and make sure the
blender lid

is properly placed on the blender jar

. Switch on the device by turning the control knob

clockwise to speed position “1” or speed position “2” or turn the control knob
9
counter-clockwise to pulse
position “P” and hold it.
• Switch off the device by setting the control knob

to the “0” position.
• When finished using the device, remove the power plug from the mains power.
Using the device
• Before each use, make sure the device is clean and dry.
• WARNING!
Before installing or releasing the blender jar of the device, make sure the rotating
parts have reached standstill, and the power plug has been removed from the mains power!
• Before connecting the device to the mains power, make sure that the accessories are securely mounted to the
blender base

and the control knob

is in the “0” position.
• Place the stirring blade base

in the ring base

with the blade upwards. Then screw the ring base with the
stirring blade base counter-clockwise to the bottom of the blender jar

. Make sure the sealing ring of the ring
base

is placed correctly! When the sealing ring is not placed correctly, there is a risk of leakage.
• Mount the blender jar

onto the blender base

; make sure the bulge (from the ring base) at the bottom of
the blender jar

is aligned with the recess

of the blender base

. Then gently push the blender jar

onto
the blender base. The blender jar is now secured to the blender base.
• The device will only operate when the blender jar is correctly placed and secured to the blender base.
• WARNING!
The motor of the device will automatically switch off when the blender jar is released from the
