Separate power supply subsystems for ‘A’ and ‘B’
segment of system. 2 PSUs per segment. 2400W at
120V or 3000W at 240V full power OR 1200W/1500W
N+1 redundant for A Segment and B segment

EB 3600-10 supports on power supply
environment. If any PCIe card needs to
be serviced, the complete system must
be powered down, even if two
separate servers are connected to the
independent backplanes within the EB
3600-10
EB3600-AB supports individual servicing of segment
‘A’ and segment ‘B’ backplanes when connected
to independent servers. The Express IO system
management GUI allows the user to power down
either segment’s 3.3V Standby power to allow any
card in that segment to be removed or
serviced/replaced.
PCI AUX Power cables
The EB 3600-10 provides 18 total PCI
AUXPWR cables for support of cards that
need more than 75W of power as
provided through the PCIe slot
connector. Any cable can be used with
any card in any slot in the system.
The EB 3600-AB provides 10 PCI AUXPWR cables for
segment ‘A’ and 8 PCI AUXPWR cables for segment
‘B’ for cards in either segment that need more than
75W of power as provided through the PCIe slot
connector. Only PCI AUXPWR cables labeled as ‘A’
may be used with segment ‘A’ cards and only PCI
AUXPWR cables label as ‘B’ may be used with
segment ‘B’ cards.
