Servicing the Side A or Side B
You can service one side of the unit without power interruption of the other side of the unit.
Example of performing service: removing or replacing a PCIe card, replacing Interface card, or swapping
out a power supply.
Viewing the expansion chassis from the back. SIDE A is on your Left, SIDE B is in your Right
Viewing the expansion chassis from the front. SIDE A is on your Right, SIDE B is on your Left.
Turning OFF 3.3v when servicing the chassis
Allows you to turn off 3.3v power on side A and B. The left side is A and right is B from back of chassis.
The only reason to turn this off is to service the chassis if A or B server goes down and you need to replace a
GPU, you need to disable 3.3 v standby power to service chassis via GUI. Once disabled you will need to
enable 3.3v standby to turn on the side A or B otherwise when you turn on your host, host turn on will not
work. This is enabled by default.
SIDE A= Turn A Aux Power Off
SIDE B = Turn B Aux Power Off
