• Make sure that other objects do not cause a short circuit at
the contacts of the device
• Never pull the plug out of the socket by the connecting cable
• Store the device in a dry and cool place
1�5 Work on Electrical Installations
Work on electrical installations may only be carried out by
qualified persons.
If work on an electrical system is carried out by a non-quali-
fied person, the manufacturer is not liable under any circums-
tances for damage to this system or its peripherals. In case of
doubt, the manufacturer reserves the right to demand proof
of qualification.
Also note the following:
• When a qualified person is working on electrical installa-
tions, all safety precautions must be taken to avoid danger to
himself or others. The qualified person must be familiar with
the current guidelines (e.g. VDE...).
• Please also observe the basic safety instructions on the
danger of electric shock (chapter 1.2) and on the safe use of
electrical equipment (chapter 1.4)
