Make sure all warning lights have gone out.
z Make sure the air pressure in the compressed-air tank is
sufficient.

z Make sure the trailer or gooseneck has been securely
coupled. The control lights in the instrument panel have to
be on.
Checking the equipment
z Adjust the mirrors of the MT before operating the vehicle.
z Stow loose objects in the storage net for example

Driving with towed loads
T h e o p e ra t o r i s r e s p o n s i bl e fo r e n s u r i n g t h a t c a r g o i s
s e c u r e d p r o p e r l y.
z Always adjust the speed to the circumstances when
driving with suspended loads.
z The vehicle must be able to be braked safely at any time.
This applies especially for driving with unbraked roll trailers
or Cargotrailers.
z Make sure the compressed air connectors are connected
to the coupling heads when braking trailers with
compressed air.
