VIA 2 BUTTONS CALIBRATIONS
U5098 has 2 buttons on board, P1 and P2, with which it is possible:
- to program the level measurement range via the 4mA and 20mA distances self-acquisition
- to program the RL1 and RL2 thresholds via the switching distances self-acquisition.

DISTANCE
To set the 0% level measurement (4mA) it is necessary that the real level is the one corresponding to the “4mA
Dist.”; alternatively it is possible to place a target orthogonally to the U5098 transmitter at a distance equivalent
to the 0%level. Wait until the ECO LED
ßashes for
at least 30s, press simultaneously P1 and P2, release them
and verify that the ECO LED remains turned on.
Press P1 two times and wait for the ECO LED
ßashes.
The distance has been saved and automatically associated with the 0% level (4mA).
20mA
DISTANCE
To set the 100% level measurement (4mA) it is necessary that the real level is the one corresponding to the
“20mA Dist.”; alternatively it is possible to place a target orthogonally to the U5098 transmitter at a distance
equivalent to the 100% level.
Wait until the ECO LED
ßashes
for at least 30s, press simultaneously P1 and P2, release them and verify that the
ECO LED remains turned on.
Press P2 two times and wait for the ECO LED
ßashes.
The distance has been saved and automatically associated with the 100% level (4mA).
