Step 4 - Place the Base Assembly on its side for easier service – Gently rest the Base
Assembly on its side to avoid damage such as paint scratching.
Step 5 - Remove the Leg Rod Assembly. (Refer to section 9.6)
Step 6 – Remove the Manual Leg Opener. (Refer to section 9.7)
Step 7 – Remove the LH Leg and the RH Leg from the Base. (Refer to section 9.11)
Step 8 – Remove the Rear Castors. (Refer to section 9.9)
Refitting / Replacement
Step 9 - Refitting is a reversal of the removal process noting the following point:
A)
Ensure the Star Handles are fully tightened to disallow any play between the Mast and
Base of the Hoist.
9.12.2 – M180 Folding Mast – Base Removal
Removal
Step 1 – Using two 5mm Allen Keys, remove a screw from the Folding Pin, and remove the
Pin from the Mast.
Step 2 – Remove the Mast/Base Star Handle by twisting the Star Handle anti-clockwise until
the Handle is removed.
Step 3 – Raise the Mast of from the Base by lifting it vertically upward.
