7. Technical description
The
NANOCOLOR
®
Advance enables measurements in the
wavelength range of 340 nm to 800 nm. The light generated by a
halogen lamp is diffracted by a concave grating and directed into
the cuvette shaft of the instrument by means of imaging optics.
After passing through the sample, the proportion of absorbed
light is calculated by detecting the attenuated light. The proportion
of absorbed light is converted to the concentration of the analyte
according to a calibration.
