 for details on re-installation.

Place the XCi device on a work bench. Using a power drill and 2” holesaw, carefully drill out the round 

plastic cable entry point at the base of the unit as shown below. It is only thin plastic and is designed to 

break away. Alternatively, the round cable entry point may be removed using the “hammer and 

screwdriver” method 

described

 .

 

2.  Use the two “U” bolts, 3/8” nuts and 3/8” washers provided to secure the XCi device to the pole.

WARNING:  Do not overtighten the pole mounting bolts as permanent damage 

may occur to the electronics enclosure
