Gearbox
The gearbox
’
s lubricant will need to be inspected and changed from time to time, according to the intervals specified in the
maintenance schedule.
Checking Lubricant Level and Adding Lubricant
The gearbox
’
s lubricant level can be inspected through the check plug port. Lubricant can also be added through this port.
CAUTION
Park on a flat, level surface with the header on the ground, the ground speed lever (GSL) in the N-DETENT position, and
the steering wheel in the locked position (centered). To confirm that the parking brake is engaged, wait for the cab
display module (CDM) to beep and display the message IN PARK.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before leaving the operator
’
s seat for any reason.
