IMPORTANT:
BATTERY IS NEGATIVE GROUNDED. Always connect
starter cable to the positive (+) terminal of battery and
battery ground cable to negative (-) terminal of battery.
Reversed polarity in battery or alternator may result in
permanent damage to electrical system.
3. Attach negative (black) cable clamps (B and D) to
negative post on batteries and tighten clamps.
4. Attach positive (red) cable clamps (A and C) to positive
post on batteries and tighten. Position plastic covers
onto clamps.

Connecting Batteries
DANGER
Stop engine and remove key from ignition before leaving operator's seat for any reason. A child or even a
pet could engage an idling machine.
1. Stop the engine and remove the key.
2. The battery main disconnect switch (A) is located on
the right-hand frame rail beside the batteries. Ensure
battery switch (A) is switched to POWER OFF position.
3. Remove cable ties securing battery cables to
battery clamp.
