Changing Oil Filter
Change the oil
fi
lter after the
fi
rst 50 hours of operation and every 250 hours thereafter.
Obtain
fi
lter part MD #202704 from your MacDon Dealer.
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected start-up of machine, always stop engine and remove key
from ignition before leaving operator’s seat for any reason.
1. Clean around the mating surfaces of the
fi
lter (B) and
manifold (A).
2. Remove the spin-off
fi
lter (B) and clean the exposed
fi
lter port in the manifold (A).
3. Apply a thin
fi
lm of clean oil to the O-ring provided with
the new
fi
lter.
4. Turn the new
fi
lter into the manifold (A) until the O-ring
contacts the mating surface.
Tighten the
fi
lter an
additional 1/2 to 3/4 turn by hand.
IMPORTANT:
Do
NOT
use a
fi
lter wrench to install the new
fi
lter. Overtightening can damage the O-ring
and
fi
lter.
