3.
Start with the reel disc closest to the center of the header
and proceed outward toward the ends, adjusting the
header profile as follows:
a.
Remove bolts (A).
b.
Loosen bolt (B) and adjust arm (C) until the desired
measurement is obtained between the reel tine tube
and the cutterbar.
NOTE:
Allow the reel tine tubes to curve naturally and
position the hardware accordingly.
c.
Reinstall bolts (A) in the aligned holes and
tighten them.

Centering Reel
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key before adjusting the machine.

1.
Start the engine and set the cutterbar height at
approximately 150 mm (6 in.) above ground.
2.
Lower the reel and adjust the fore-aft position to 5 on the
reel arm indicator decal.
3.
Stop the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
4.
Manually rotate the reel to position a tine tube above the
cutterbar.
5.
Measure clearance (A) between the reel tine tube and
endsheet at both ends (B) of the header. If the reel is
centered, the clearances will be the same. Refer to the
following steps to center the reel.
