Reel
The reel features a uniquely shaped cam, which allows the fingers to get underneath lodged crop and pick it up before it
is cut.

Reel-to-Cutterbar Clearance
Correctly setting the clearance between the reel fingers and the cutterbar ensures that the reel fingers do not contact the
cutterbar when the header is operating. The clearance is set at the factory, but some adjustment may be necessary before
the header can be operated.
The finger to guard/cutterbar clearance values when the reels are fully lowered are shown in the table below.

Measuring Reel Clearance
Measure the clearance between the reel fingers and the cutterbar before operating the reel.
DANGER
To prevent injury or death from the unexpected start-up of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the key
from the ignition before leaving the operator

s seat for any reason.
WARNING
Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.
1.
Start the engine.
2.
Park the windrower on a level surface.
3.
Lower the header fully.
