Adjusting the Threshold for the Drop Rate Valve
–
John Deere 60 Series
This procedure explains how to adjust the point at which the restrictor valve opens allowing full flow to the lift cylinders.

1.
Press DIAGNOSTIC button (A) on the monitor. DIA appears
on the monitor.
2.
Press the UP button (B) until EO1 appears on the monitor
and press ENTER (C). This is the header adjustment.
3.
Press the UP (B) or DOWN button until 114 is displayed on
the top portion of the monitor. This is the setting that
adjusts when the fast drop rate starts with respect to the
dead band.
NOTE:
The default setting is 100. Ideal operating range is typically
between 60 and 85.
4.
Press ENTER (C) to select 114 as the fast drop rate (this will
allow you to change the first digit of the number sequence).

5.
Press UP (A) or DOWN (B) until the desired number is
displayed, then press the CAL button (C). This will bring you
to the second digit. Repeat this procedure until the desired
setting is achieved.
6.
Press ENTER (D) to save changes.
