By default, when a zone is not used it should not be short circuited to the AUX(-). If a zone, which will
not be used is self-registered, it should be short circuited to the AUX(-) or it should be disabled, as
described in section “Configuring the zones of MQ03-Alarm”.

If the default configurations are not suitable the zones can be configured by the installer, as it is
described in the section “Configuring the zones of MQ03-Alarm”.

Using the wireless keyfobs

Pairing a wireless keyfob

Up to 7 wireless keyfobs can be paired to an alarm panel. The alarm kit includes 2 paired keyfobs. If
additional keyfobs are needed they should be paired with the alarm panel.

To enter pairing mode, press the white button of the RF transceiver of the panel. The red LED indicator
will blink once. After this LED indication, press

twice

any button of the wireless keyfob.

Hold the button

for at least two seconds!

The first time you press the button, the red LED indicator will blink once. The

second time you press the button, the LED will turn on longer (for 1-2 seconds) and then it will start
blinking fast. This shows that the keyfob has been paired and the procedure was successful.

You need to repeat this procedure for each additional wireless keyfob separately.

NOTE:

1.

If after pressing the white pairing button the RF transceiver does not receive signal from the
wireless keyfob within 30 seconds, the pairing procedure will be automatically canceled

2.

You can figure out if a wireless keyfob was successfully paired by the blinking of the red LED
indicator. If you press a button of a paired keyfob the indicator will blink slow (around 5 times
per second). If you press the button of an unpaired keyfob the LED indicator will blink twice as
fast (around 10 times per second).

Deleting a wireless keyfob

If a paired wireless keyfob is lost it is recommended to delete the pairing information from the alarm
panel. To do that you need to press and hold the white button of the RF transceiver for around 10
seconds. After the LED indicator goes off the RF transceiver will automatically delete the information
stored in its memory.

Note:

This procedure will delete

all paired keyfobs

! To pair the remaining keyfobs again, you should

repeat the pairing procedure all over again for each keyfob.
