2.12 CHIMNEY
The design of the chimney must meet strict conditions:
• The chimney must be insulated
• One stack may have more than two changes of direction. The angle of this change of direction must be
greater than 30 ° - 45 ° from the vertical direction
• must be taken into consideration the existing barriers in the vicinity of the hole in the chimney
• The Do not stack more than one fireplace. Use unused seals.
All fireplaces are standard LUNA HC chimney hole diameter 200 mm. Some chimneys may require a different
standard diameters. In this case, refer to the table for the height of the chimney and by reducing the possibility of
reduction. Chimney fireplace insert LUNA HC can connect from the top / Pic.13a / or the back side / Pic.13b /.
The closed door is a slow, directed the flow of gases into the chimney. Short-circuiting valve opens and
closes the doors. Fireplace Luna HC still has two flaps which are not related to the fire but the flow between the
heater jacket and chamber. These valves are located in the rear of the fireplace insert of the air supply and / or
above the upper beam in the front door. These two valves are also controlled the doors (see Pic. 16).
