2.9 INSTALLATION OF 3-SIDED FRAME
- 3-sided frame is part of the fireplace furnace type series „Luna HC“.

- Assembly and disassembly of teh frame by screwing and unscrewing convert screws/pic.5a,5b,5c/. It
should remove the side rails first. The top part is necessary for the authorization hold the screws to avoid
damaging the glass.

PLEASE, ATTENTION TO PRESERVING APPROXIMATELY 2-3 MM CLEARANCE BETWEEN
THE FRAME AND THE MATERIALS FOR SURROUNDING
(HEAT = EXPANSION)
Example:
The total size of the LUNA 900HC is 474 x 888 mm
The thickness of 3-sided frame is 4 mm
The calculation is following: 888 + 2x4mm (3-sided frame) + 2x2mm (expansion) = 900 mm.
For this measurement using a 3-sided frame in combination with marble or other materilas.
Height is measured from the bottom bar on the top 3-sided frame. This is 474mm. Thus 474mm + 2mm.
2.10 COMBUSTION AIR INTAKES
Any type of combustion using air. If enclosure is an additional air supply is very important. It is very important
always to avoid creating negative pressure inside the room. Need air intake with a diameter of 150 mm coming
from outside or ventilated place. The air supply can be connected to Luna HC DC / see pic.3/.On the hole, attach
the mouthpiece / see pic.6 and 7 /. This new system is the air that is required to burn completely separated from
the airflow in the room.
2.11 VENTILATION
2.11.1 Natural convection
It must be open at least two of the three holes for warm air at the top of the fireplace furnace/Pic.8 /.
Openings for air supply are in the bottom of the rear / Pic.7 /. Fireplace should be located at least 20 mm above
the floor / when it is placed on the floor / so as to permit the bottom of the natural flow of air. For a sufficient
circulation of heated air must be ensured that surround the bottom opening with at least 4dm
