Imager White LEDs
Parameter Default Value: Disable
Note: This parameter applies only to the Ring Imager. If enabled, the value is ignored by the
Ring Scanner.
When Imager White LEDs is enabled, the LEDs inside the scan aperture illuminate at the same
time, and for the same amount of time, as the scan beam.
This parameter setting persists over a power cycle (remove and replace the module battery).
This parameter reverts to the default setting after a module Reset (holding the imager trigger for
30 seconds after reinstalling the module battery).
It reverts to the default setting after the Factory Defaults barcode is scanned.
When this Imager White LEDs parameter is not scanned but the Decoding Illumination parameter
in Chapter 4 – SE4400 Imager Barcodes is scanned, the Imager White LEDs setting reverts to
Disable after a power cycle.
The LEDs turn off when the scan beam turns off.
Disabling this parameter does not affect the scan beam or scan beam timer.
Note: Enabling Imager White LEDs may reduce module battery life.
