IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,

electric shock and injury to persons including the following:

1. Read all instructions before using this appliance.

2. This appliance is hot when in use. To avoid burns, don’t let bare skin touch hot surfaces. The grill at the bottom of this

heater in particular will become hot when the heater is active. Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows,

bedding, papers, clothes and curtains etc. At least 3 feet (0.9m) away from the front of the appliance. Keep all items away

from the sides and back of the appliance and take special care not to block the air intake or exhaust vents. Use handles

when moving this heater.

3. Extreme caution is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left

operating and unattended.

4. Do not operate  the appliance if the power cord or plug has been damaged or the heater has been damaged or

malfunctioned in any way. Take the appliance to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical

adjustment or repair.

5. Do not use outdoors.

6. Do not use the appliance in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate the appliance where it

may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

7. Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not

route cord under furniture or appliances. Take care to position the cord away from high traffic areas and such that it can

not be tripped over.

8. To disconnect the appliance, turn all controls “OFF”, then remove the plug from the outlet.

9. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a fully in a outlet only one way.

If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the

proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way

10. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or

fire, or damage the appliance.

openings may become blocked.
