The set mitre angle can be read off using the
scale (23).
– Tighten the locking screw (9) up again.
Setting the parallel stopper
– Fit the parallel stopper (24) into the holder
on the unit as shown.
– Set the parallel stopper to the required
dimensions and secure with the locking
screw (4).
Connecting the dust extraction
mechanism
– Fit the suction hose of a suitable vacuum
unit onto the shaving rejection chute (14).
– If required, use the supplied adapter.
Operation
Check before starting the device!
Check to make sure the unit is in a safe oper-
ating condition:
– Check to make sure there are no visible
defects.
– Check to make sure all unit components
are correctly mounted.
Cut markings
The cut markings (10) show the position of
the saw blade for a right-angled cut (mark-
ing
[0°]
) and for a 45° cut (marking
[45°]
).
Laser
The laser (11) shows the position of the saw
blade regardless of the set mitre angle.
Sawing
– Place the material to be cut on an even,
suitable surface and secure to prevent it
slipping.
– Mark the line of the cut.
– Set the required cutting depth (
).
– Hold the saw firmly with both hands.
– Place the base plate (8) on the work piece
in such a way that the saw blade touches
nothing and the cut markings (10) lie on
the cutting line.
– Press the switch lock (2) and then press
the ON/OFF switch (3) held down and
hold them down.
– Wait until the blade has reached maxi-
mum cutting speed.
– Guide the saw forwards across the work
piece, keep it horizontal and moving con-
stantly forwards until the cut is completed
(never pull the saw backwards!)

When
extracting particular dangerous, car-
cinogenic or dry dusts use a special
extraction unit.
DANGER! Risk of injury!
The
device may only be put into operation
if there are no defects. If a part is
defective, it must be replaced before
the machine is used again.
DANGER! Risk of kickback!
Always
guide the saw, never the work piece!
Always hold the device tightly with
both hands.
Never pull the saw backwards!
Never tilt the blade!
When sawing, the base plate must
rest safety and fully on the work piece.
DANGER! Risk of injury!
Never use
your hand to hold the work piece
when working! Always clamp the work
piece firmly in place.
Do not process work pieces that are
too small to be clamped.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the
unit!
Only use saw blades that are
appropriate for the material you are
processing.
Always operate the saw with gentle
force.
Note:
To achieve clean cuts, keep to
a straight cutting line and guide the
saw forwards at a constant speed.
