3. Qualified personnel
All persons who are responsible for operation, service
and assembly must be accordingly qualified for these
works. The area of responsibility, competence and con-
trol of the personnel must be precisely determined by
the operator. If the personnel does not have the required
knowledge, they must be trained and instructed. The op-
erator also must ensure that the contents of the operating
instructions is properly understood by the personnel.
4. Assembly
4.1 Assembly at pump type Lutz B2 Vario (Fig. 1)
Before assembly all parts have to be checked for particles
of packing material.
. Install the drum pump connector B2

at the inlet
of the flow meter.
Now commercially available hose connectors G can be
connected at the outlet of the flow meter.
4.2 Assembly at drum pumps (Fig. 2)
Before assembly all parts have to be checked for particles
of packing material.
. Push the wing nut

onto the threaded nipple

. Insert the seal

8. Screw the flow meter together with the mounted
parts onto the drum pump
Now commercially available hose connectors G /4 can
be connected at the reducing connector.
4.3 Assembly at nozzle PP/PVDF with standard
hose connector and hose connector twistable
(Fig. 3)
Before assembly all parts have to be checked for particles
of packing material.

If our hose connector twistable is used, sliding surfaces
and seal ring must be wetted with a suitable lubricant.
Compatibility with the flow medium must be observed!
4.4 Turnover of the display (Fig. 4)
The cover with the display can be turned at 80° for
better reading.
. Release the screws
2. Lift the cover
. Turn the cover at 80°
4. Fit the cover
5. Tighten the screws
