SYMPTOM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
CORRECTIVE ACTION
ODK4 not communicating with
a particular sign.
Sign communication
problem.
The ODK will send data to each sign after a
valid message is selected. The
Communication LED on each sign will
indicate the data communication as a series
of quick pulses while communicating with the
ODK.
If some signs are communicating, please
refer to the Sign troubleshooting guide of the
appropriate sign manual.
USB Device Not Recognized.
Failure Reading USB
Device.
If the USB Icon is not displayed after 20
seconds, remove the USB drive, wait 10
seconds and re-insert the device.
ODK4 will not load new
software from the USB
memory device.
The file on the USB
device is already
loaded on the ODK.
To manually load the software from the USB,
press Maint\USB\Load\ - select the file type
you are trying to update.
