Step 2
Install the mirror mount
Build your own mirror system
Fits 7/8” factory handlebars
Straight or J hook style bars
Mirror Kit CONTENTS
Insert mount ( Cam lock) into the bar end.
If the cam does not slide in freely, loosen the lock
by un-winding the lever. Lever should be in the
unlock position during installation. (Fig 5)

Build up your mirror
Using the rest of the components , Build up a mirror style that best

Tools Required for Installation
Utility knife
Adjustable wrench
Appropriate end cap remover. (Example: Cap screw or Torx)
Drill with a bore bit, (Required for some models)
suits your needs. Example configurations (Fig 6)
Jam nuts should be located on threads to lock each component into
place. See example with Long Stem & Elbow (Fig 7)

NOTE: One cam lock per kit. A 12 or 17 mm diameter based on kit ordered.

If the factory grip has an end cap, Simply remove
the cap with the appropriate tool.
If the factory grip does not have an end cap and is
finished with a formed rubber end, carefully cut

TO AVOID DAMAGE TO HEATED GRIPS DO NOT CUT
INTO THE BODY OF THE GRIP.
CUT AWAY THE GRIP END ONLY !

Some manufactures handle bars have an insert or hard plastic end cap (Fig 3)
This is to be removed by drilling out the insert. (Fig 4)
Note: removing the insert or end cap will not damage heated grips. If you are
not sure or capable of drilling out the insert, contact your dealer.

Adjust your mirror system to the optimized viewing angle. Tighten
into place. Jam nuts should be tighten using an adjustable wrench.
(Fig 7) To lock the mirror mount ( Cam Lock) into the tube, turn
the lever clockwise until you feel tension or resistance. Pivot the
Lever 90 degrees to lock (Fig 5)
