Configuring All Virtual E1 Port and Channels on a Port
Begin
Configuring a Virtual Port with One Channel, Part 3 (Accessing the Channelized OC-3 Virtual DS1 Port Configuration Window).
1
From the Channelized STM-1 SM AU-3 Port Configuration window (see
Figure 4-10), select an unconfigured E1 port. The Channelized STM-1
SM Virtual E1 Port and Channel Configuration window is displayed (see
Figure 4-11). Table 4-8 describes the commands on the window.
Table 4-9 describes the fields on the window.
2
Select the values for the fields on this window.
Note:
Since you are configuring all channels on the port to function as
one continuous channel on the virtual E1 port, you
must
leave the
default value in the Channelization field set to its default value
Disabled.
3
Select the
Apply Port Configuration
command. If the port configura-
tion is successful, a line status message confirms that the configuration
has been applied:
The port configuration has been applied.
4
Go to the next procedure.
End
View Port Statistics
Displays the Channelized OC-3 or STM-1 Port Statistics window.
Go Back to Port Configura-
tion
Redisplays the 1-Port Channelized OC-3 or STM-1 Port Configura-
tion window.
