Final Hardware Installation

Fiber Connection 
to Circuit Packs

Verify the intrashelf fiber jumpers were dressed into place in Section 5 for each 
system type. 

!

CAUTION:

To prevent potential damage to the Optical Amplifiers (LEA7,LEA7B, 
LEA104, or LEA105), connect the fibers to the “IN” and “OUT” ports before 
seating these transmission packs into each shelf.

Final Operations

Proceed to
