OLS/OT Integration Cables
Installation
Description
Release 3 OLS/OT Integration provides a control interface between the OLS and
the OT. An OTCTL (LUD1) pack is inserted in the OT System Shelf, and cables
are installed which connect the OT to the OLS. This integration provides additional
maintenance information and control of OT provisioning and administration
through existing OLS control interfaces.

WARNING:
The following installation procedures are for new installations. Using these
procedures on "In Service" OLS/OT systems will result in a "Loss of
Service." For "In Service" upgrades use the appropriate MIP.
Configurations There are two integrated OLS/OT configurations:

One OLS shelf with one OT system,
■
One OLS shelf with two OT systems.
An OT system can consist of one, two, or three shelves.
