Line Orderwire, Section Orderwire,
and Section User Channel Cables
Installation
Description
The Optical Translator (OT) does not currently support Line Orderwire, Section
Orderwire, or Section User Channel capabilities. However, the Optical Line
System (OLS) does. The following section describes the cables and their
installation for WaveStar OLS 40G.
Line orderwire, section orderwire, and section user channel cables allow for
access to SONET overhead bytes. They include:
