Power Cable Installation
Miscellaneously Mounted OLS
Shelves
Introduction
This section describes the installation of the A and B power cables for the
Miscellaneously Mounted OLS Shelves.
Each feeder capacity in the miscellaneous mount shelf must be 15 amperes
(unless otherwise specified by the customer) at the BDFB.
For power cable installation information of multiple OLS shelves in a single bay,
OLS shelf with OT shelves in the same bay, single OLS or OT shelves, or multiple
OT shelves in the same bay, refer to the appropriate section of this chapter.
Available Power
Cables Table 4-3 lists power cables available for installing a miscellaneous OLS shelf.

Power Cable
Installation For the Miscellaneous Mounted OLS Shelf, the power cables are a single feed.
Each miscellaneous shelf is powered individually. Install as follows:

Step Action
1 Turn the power breakers off, or do not install fuses, at the BDFB.
2 Verify the circuit packs are not installed in the shelves.
Leave the fuses out or breakers off until performing the steps in Chapter
7, Powering , of this manual.
