Equipment Installation

Miscellaneous Mount Installation

Introduction

Miscellaneously mounted OLS or OT shelves are designed to mount into 
customer installed bay frames. It is assumed that the bay frames have been 
installed properly and meet earthquake zone requirements.

Bay Frame 
Requirements

The frames used to mount the miscellaneous OLS or OT shelves must meet the 
following requirements:.

Figure 3-14 shows a List 10 Miscellaneously Mounted OT mounted to a Lucent 
Technologies 800 Type bay frame. Figure 3-15 shows two Miscellaneously 
Mounted OLS shelves mounted to a Lucent Technologies 800 Type bay frame. 

NOTE:

A three-inch high heat baffle kit may be substituted for the open space at 
the top of the OT bay.
