Terminal Administration
Use the following diagrams for administering the 8405, 8410, and 8411 voice
terminals.
The button numbering schemes for these three voice terminals are almost exactly
the same, except that the 8405 has five call appearance/feature buttons whereas
the 8410 and the 8411 voice terminals have 10 call appearance/feature buttons.
Figure 5-3 shows the button numbering scheme for administering the 8405 voice
terminal to a System 75, a DEFINITY Generic 1 or Generic 3, or a DEFINITY
ECS. (The drawing shows the 8405D Plus, but you can use this drawing to
administer all four of the 8405 models.) Figure 5-4 shows the button numbering
for administering the 8405 voice terminal to a System 85 or a DEFINITY
Generic 2. (Again, the 8405D Plus is used as an example.)
Figure 5-5 shows the button numbering scheme for administering the 8410 or
8411 voice terminal to a System 75, a DEFINITY Generic 1 or Generic 3, or a
DEFINITY ECS. (The drawing shows the 8410D; however, the button numbering
for the 8410B, 8411B, and 8411D is the same). Figure 5-6 shows button
numbering for administering the 8410 or 8411 voice terminals to a System 85 or a
DEFINITY Generic 2. (Again, the figure shows the 8410D.)
NOTE:
On the voice terminals in the diagrams, both numbers and letters are printed
on the dial pad keys. However, on some voice terminals only numbers
appear on these keys.
