Slide the ejector lock at the top of the module down to access the top card ejector.
This puts the module into a reset state.

Lift the top and bottom card ejectors simultaneously to remove the module from
the unit.

Carefully slide the module out of the chassis, and place it into an antistatic
container.
Installing a module in the COP slot
To install a COP, IP2000, or control module in the COP slot:

Put on the antistatic wrist strap, as recommended in “Preventing static discharge
damage” on page 2-2, and connect it to an electrical ground.

Align the replacement module with the card guide and carefully slide the module
into the unit, as shown in Figure 3-18.
