Other Digits

Use this procedure to specify other (extra) digits that must be added by the
system to the beginning of the number dialed by the caller when calls are placed
on an identified route.
NOTES:
■
Pool routes must be programmed before you assign other digits.
■
In Release 6.0 and later systems, where ARS calls will be made from
lines/trunks connected to a remote private network system, the local
ARS feature adds (prepends) the ARS access code of the remote
system.
A maximum of 20 digits can be added in any combination of the digits 0 through 9.
Special characters such as switchhook flash, Stop, and # cannot be included as
extra digits. Pause is allowed in every position but the first.
Other digits are assigned to Tables 1 through 18.
