Configuring SNMP
A CellPipe SDSU supports simple network management protocol (SNMP). An
SNMP management station can query the unit, set some parameters, sound alarms
when certain conditions appear in the unit, and so forth.
To configure SNMP, proceed as follows:

From the Main Menu, select
Configure SNMP
.

Select
Enable/Disable SNMP
, then select
y
to enable SNMP.

Enter a value for each of the following (up to 39 alphanumeric characters):
•
System Contact
•
System Location
•
System Name
•
SNMP Community
•
SNMP Trap Host IP Address.

Reset the unit for these changes to take effect.
